Previous to her farewell tour, Estefan Enterprises and The Factory Interactive launched GloriaEstefan.com – the official site for recording superstar Gloria Estefan. This entirely new site was an incredibly interactive and user-friendly website built to maximize the interactive attributes of Flash. The site contained downloadable web banners, wallpapers, screen savers and Gloria's handwritten song journal. Additionally, the site provided Gloria Estefan fans with a complete discography, an interactive timeline spanning over two decades of career highlights and the ability to listen to tracks from Gloria's last album. Visitors had the ability to follow Gloria through various video clips from Gloria's career and past performances.
GloriaEstefan.com was constructed upon a powerful Content Management System that included tools for sending quick and easy email blasts to registered user groups in addition to updating press releases, news events and a full image gallery. These toolsets provided Estefan Enterprises staff with the ability to control virtually all areas of the site without having to learn obscure programming languages or render new versions of the Flash framework.
